We are hosting:

Sheriff Rhodes running for reelection to Yavapai County Sheriff

Sheriff David Rhodes is a 28-year veteran of the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office. He began his career as a volunteer, making it official in 1994 and promoting through the ranks in positions of Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain and Chief Deputy. A graduate of the FBI National Academy, Session #244, he served as Commander in both the Law Enforcement Division and the Detention Division of the agency, as well as serving as the Commander of the Northern Arizona Regional Training Academy.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

October 2017 – Developing partner of “Reach Out” program for Yavapai County

February 2017 – Organized first multi‐agency Yavapai County Crisis Intervention Training

February 2016 – Founding partner of Yavapai County Post‐Arrest Diversion Program

February 2016 – Member of the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council

and

Tammy Ontiveros, Candidate for Coconino County Board of Supervisors District 3

Tammy Ontiveros, a third-generation Arizona native with deep roots in this area, is running to be the next Supervisor for District 3.  Tammy has been a business owner for 28 years, has served on the Coconino County Planning and Zoning Commission for 13 years and is currently Chair, serving in her fourth year in that position.

As a successful business owner, Tammy understands budgets and fiscal responsibility.  As a Planning & Zoning commissioner, she understands land use and development issues.  She participated on the 2015 Coconino County Comprehensive Plan update and is working on the current Plan update.  Additionally, Tammy assisted in the development and passage of Coconino County’s Renewable Energy Ordinance.

Tammy genuinely cares for Coconino County and her deep roots motivate her to help preserve and positively impact this area for future generations.  As the next District 3 Supervisor, Tammy will work together with the other supervisors making sure that the issues in all District 3 communities are represented.

The presentations will start at 5:30 pm.
