Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission Holds Public Hearings July 27 in West Sedona
CALL FOR SPEAKERS, WRITTEN COMMENTS AND SUPPORTERS TO ATTEND!
Arizona Redistricting occurs every ten years and is one of the most IMPORTANT ACTIVITIES to keep Arizona Fair and Representing the will of the PEOPLE. Your participation is critical.
The Arizona IRC redraws the district maps, including the State Legislative Districts and U.S. Congressional Districts from scratch, based on data from the recently completed 2020 U.S. Census. It is crucial that residents and Communities of Interest attend the Public Hearing, provide 2-3 minute testimony in person, and provide concise written testimony.
The Yavapai County IRC Public Hearing for our area is being held via Zoom from Yavapai Community College in West Sedona Room SED-34 on Tuesday July 27 at 5pm, in coordination with the Public Hearing in Prescott.
